WEFIC sets up facility hub in Singapore to enhance regional presence

It’s not all gloom and doom, as the Oil and Gas industry prepares for a turnaround or rather busier times are on the horizon. Singapore WEFIC Ocean Technologies pushes ahead with its expansion plans insetting up its APACMulti-Services facility, which is called “WEFIC Tuas Hub”.

The 25,000 sqft facility will cater to meet the current requirements for its customers, in the Asia Pacific region.

This is to better serve the customers to witness its Factory Acceptance (FAT) tests, manufacturing and equipment assemblies, repairs, refurbishment and recertification services, and lastly but certainly not least, PSL 3G testing.

WEFIC’s multi-services hub will be appealing to the drilling rig owners, due to the close proximity to major shipyards Singapore and in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This is particularly for recertification services for the high pressure manifolds.

With its soft opening early this year, the multi-services hub is already busy with ongoing projects. The requirements to fulfil conducting FATs and the other manufacturing and testing services, for clients in the region a major advantage by coming over to Singapore.

The work can be performed quicker and travelling into Singapore would also be a breeze.
